
Meeting with Experts Begins as Part of the "Youth Participation Summit for Accurate Information and a Safe Future" Project
Within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA154-YOU “Youth Participation Summit for Accurate Information, Safe Future” project, coordinated by İnönü University and carried out in partnership with the Innovative Sustainable Development Association (YESKAD) and Ankara Intercultural Research Association (AKAD), the “Meeting with Experts” activity will be held in Malatya on 09–10 October 2025.
The meeting will enable young people to meet with academics who are experts in their fields, civil society representatives, media professionals, and decision-makers. The program includes:
• Post-disaster information pollution and perception management,
• Social media and propaganda,
• Access to accurate information in education,
• Conscious decision-making processes of young people
Topics such as will be discussed.
Feyza Gizligider, Head of the Strategy Development Department of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), and Zeynel Abidin Kıymaz, President of the GAP Journalists Union, will attend the event.
During the two-day event, non-formal learning methods such as presentation, discussion, case analysis, role playing and creative drama will be used, and ideas will be exchanged with the active participation of young people.
The insights and conclusions from the meeting will be compiled into a comprehensive report to be used for the training program, workshop, and summit. This report will form the basis for the training content, workshop themes, and policy recommendations to be developed in subsequent phases of the project.
