The 'Accurate Information, Secure Future' Workshop in Ankara has concluded.
The "Workshop Event" held in Ankara has been successfully completed. The program, implemented within the scope of the Erasmus+ KA154 "Youth Participation Summit for Accurate Information and a Secure Future" project, brought together 20 young participants selected from different cities of Türkiye with 8 experts, academics, facilitators, and youth workers. The event addressed topics such as propaganda, disinformation, perception management, digital media literacy, and the transmission of accurate information.

Throughout the two-day workshop, participants experienced interactive learning through case studies, group work, discussions, reflection sessions, and non-formal education methods. The program featured Dr. Hasan Toman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Servet Atik, Prof. Dr. Niyazi Özer, Dr. Kemal Başcı, Yusuf Şahin (TRT SEO Manager – Digital Channels Specialist), Ufuk Kaplan (TRT Spor Digital Broadcasts Editor), Hüseyin Kaya (Advisor to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism), and youth worker Hacı Mehmet Şimşek as field experts.

The workshop covered topics such as the social and political impacts of post-disaster propaganda, the role of social media platforms in perception management, combating disinformation, education and perception management, political propaganda, and the dissemination of accurate information in detail. Participants were also informed about Youthpass and project writing.

The event aimed to strengthen young people's media literacy, critical thinking, and digital awareness skills; it was stated that the project outputs would contribute to future reports and youth studies. The program concluded with a certificate ceremony and a tour of Ankara.
