A seminar on Stray Animals and Rehabilitation Services was held.
Forty young people attended the Stray Animals and Rehabilitation Services seminar. A presentation by association member veterinarian Sami Altaş provided information on collecting stray or weakened stray animals, neutering them, vaccinating them, providing them with necessary medical care and marking them, returning them to their original habitat, and registering those adopted.
Information on the Cat Houses placed in parks to shelter stray cats and automatic waterers for other stray animals, vaccination programs, animal ambulance services, roll feeders distributed for wild birds unable to find food in the wild during cold winter conditions, and bird shelters built in parks for wild birds were shared with the young people. The Malatya Metropolitan Municipality animal shelter was toured by the young people.
