Don't throw your trash on the ground, don't pollute your future!
The event was organized
Are we paying the necessary attention to our environment, which is vital to both us and nature? The wind-blown packaging and bags scattered after a picnic in nature, the plastic water bottles we drink from, the broken glass bottles, and more pose a threat to our environment that will last for centuries.
We strive to organize environmentally-specific events on specific days and weeks to raise awareness about environmental pollution problems, most of which are caused by humans, to contribute to the development of environmental awareness, and to encourage us to think and take precautions for the future of our world and all living things.
World Environment Day, one of these special days, has been celebrated every year on June 5th since the United Nations Environment Conference held in Stockholm, Sweden in 1972, with the aim of raising awareness and taking action on environmental protection in our country as well as around the world.
On this meaningful day, millions of people around the world cleaned up nature to make our planet a little cleaner.
Educator Akif Emre Duman, vice president of the Innovative Sustainable Development Association for Our Environment and Planet, took on the important responsibility of cleaning up trash in and around a city center park on June 5th, World Environment Day, with the slogan "Don't throw your trash on the ground, don't pollute your future!" The event began with a short training session for the children. The goal was to make a difference by cleaning up our environment and collectively creating a more beautiful and livable environment.
