Project Overview
This project aims to support young people in becoming aware of social issues, developing their critical thinking skills, and actively participating in decision-making processes. Within the scope of the project, young people will gain knowledge about current social issues, form their own opinions, develop solutions, and interact directly with decision-makers. In this way, young people's active citizenship skills will be strengthened, and their participation in democratic processes will be supported.
Project Activities
The project activities consist of four main stages: meetings with experts, a training program, workshops, and a summit. Young people aged 18-30 will participate in all activities. Six young participants will attend the meetings with experts, where they will exchange views. The training program will be conducted with 15 young people and will provide participants with short, interactive content on critical thinking, media literacy, active citizenship, and democratic participation. The workshops will be held with 20 young people, and participants will analyze the findings and develop solutions and policy recommendations. The summit program will be organized with the participation of 25 young people, where the ideas generated will be shared and the project outputs will be reported.
Outputs and Impact
The project will result in the creation of educational content, workshop and summit reports, and policy recommendations developed by young people. During this process, young people's critical thinking skills will improve, their participation in decision-making processes will increase, and sustainable communication will be established between young people and decision-makers. Furthermore, young people's self-expression, teamwork, and problem-solving skills will be strengthened; and their awareness of social issues will increase. The project will contribute to young people becoming more effective individuals at the local and national levels by developing their active citizenship awareness. In addition, the outputs will be disseminated to wider audiences through dissemination activities, ensuring the project's impact is sustainable in the long term.

Young people will be empowered in the areas of media literacy and perception management.
The training program planned to be held in Malatya within the scope of the project aims to enable young people to gain knowledge and awareness on combating propaganda, perception management, and disinformation. During the program, topics such as social media, digital mass communication tools, the role of civil society, and political communication will be discussed with the guidance of expert trainers.
The aim is to strengthen young people's critical thinking, access to accurate information, and active citizenship skills through training conducted using non-formal learning methods. The outcomes obtained at the end of the training program will be reported and used to provide input for the workshops and summit activities within the scope of the project.
