
A preparatory meeting was held for the Youth Participation Summit Project.
A preparatory meeting was held within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA154 - YOU “Youth Participation Summit for Accurate Information and a Secure Future” project, conducted by İnönü University and with YESKAD as a partner institution. During the meeting, where participants actively contributed, the content, methodology, and implementation process of the training program, which constitutes a significant part of the project, were planned together.
At the meeting held prior to the Training Program to be organized in Malatya between April 10-12, 2026, current and critical issues such as disinformation, perception management, media literacy, social media, and digital platforms were discussed. The training content was enriched in line with the views and suggestions of the young participants.
The meeting was attended by YESKAD Project Team Leader Hacı Mehmet Şimşek, as well as Prof. Dr. Niyazi Özer, Assoc. Dr. Servet Atik, Dr. Hasan Toma, and young participant Can Salman. The participants exchanged views on how to make the training process more effective and inclusive.
Within the scope of the project, which aims to strengthen the active participation of young people, the concept of collaborative learning and joint production is emphasized, and the roadmap of the training program was clarified with the meeting held.
