A seminar on combating addiction was held

Dr. Simay Şirin, who works at the Community Health Center and is a member of our association, Müfit Şirin, an Information Technologies Guidance Counselor at Aydın Karacasu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, organized a seminar on combating addictions for students. The seminar covered technology addiction. Technology addiction is defined as behavioral addictions that arise from the unconscious and uncontrolled use of technology and the internet, manifesting as addictive sub-behaviors such as gaming disorder, gambling disorder, and excessive use of social media and smartphones. Our goal is to raise awareness among young people about combating addiction, update their knowledge and skills, and share effective strategies.
