A NEW WORKSHOP IN ITALY
EUROPEAN PROJECT PARTNERSHIP

The CIAO (Connecting, Inspiring, and Activating Opportunities) partnership-building event, held in Rende, Italy, from November 21–24, 2024, brought together 24 creative individuals from Europe and beyond seeking partnerships for youth projects. Professionally organized by the Entropia cultural association at the University of Calabria, this international and multicultural event offered participants opportunities to collaborate and develop new projects. A youth worker from YESKAD (Innovative Sustainable Development Association) participated in the event.

On the first day of the event, participants met with each other and introduced their organizations. The second day focused on KA1 projects, focusing on youth exchanges, professional development activities, and strategic development. The third day focused on KA2 projects, including partnerships for collaboration within these projects and small-scale projects. On the final day of the event, participants focused on the process of creating new projects and establishing partnerships by applying the knowledge and inspiration they gained to action.

Participants had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with many new people during this process, and they thoroughly enjoyed talking and working together. The teams formed brought together the dreams of all members to develop innovative ideas to ensure the success of the projects. Our team, which included participants from Italy, Turkey, Romania, Spain, and Finland, was able to collaborate effectively and easily develop an innovative project idea.

Our team's new project will develop Immersive Education for a Regenerative Life, encompassing all areas of sustainability. With this idea, we are aiming for a KA2 project within the Erasmus+ program with four partner organizations in Europe.
